Things You'll Need:
- Book idea
- Motivation
- Writing skills
- Word processing software
- Internet access
- An account on Lulu.com
-

-
Step 2
Create a cover image or use a template found on the web.
-
Step 3
Create an account at Lulu.com (see Resources section for a clickable link).
-
Step 4
Sign in to Lulu.com and start a new project see Resources section for a clickable link). Click the eBooks link under the Digital Media section. On the next screen enter the working title and author information, select the "Keep it Private" option and then click the Save & Continue button. Don't stress about a name at this point - you can change it later.
-
Step 5
On the next screen upload your ebook document file and the click Make Download-Ready File button.
-
Step 6
Next, design your cover. You can upload an image you created or use a stock cover image. Add your title and other text then click the Make Print-Ready Cover button. Look over the cover and then click the Save & Continue button on the next screen.
-
Step 7
Now you set your ebook price. It can range from free to whatever amount you wish to charge. At this point you can set the book's availability - Private, Direct Access, or General Access. Click the Save & Finish button when you are done.
-
Step 8
On the next screen enter search and copyright information for your ebook. Click the Save & Continue button when the form information is entered.
-
Step 9
Review the information. You can change the price here. Once you are done, click the Save & Finish button.
-
Step 10
At this point your ebook is published on Lulu.com. The screen provides a direct link to your work. You can use other site features to market your ebook or use other means such as mass emailings or website advertising.
