Things You'll Need:
- Mac with wireless capability

Step 1
Click the Apple icon in the upper left hand corner. (Alternatively you can click on the wireless icon on the upper right hand side and select Network Preferences)

From the drop down menu, choose "System Preferences..."

Double click on the Network icon to bring up the network preferences window.

In the right hand side, click on the device you are connecting with (AirPort, if you have built in wireless capability).

In the Network Name drop down menu, select the name of the wireless network you want. If your network name isn't broadcasted, click Join Other Network from the drop down menu and type in the name of the network and click the Join button.
If the network is password protected, it will prompt you to enter a WEP key. Enter the key and press OK. You should now be connected to the network.
