Step 1
Creamy lipstick with a touch of matte is more elegant looking and is also less likely to bleed into the lines round your mouth as the day goes on.
-
Step 2
Exfoliate - First you want to gently exfoliate your lips gently with your toothbrush. Doing this will help remove any dry skin which will stand out when lipstick is applied. If your lips are chapped or dry, apply a lip moisturizer like Chapstick as a base.
-
Step 3
Apply lipstick to just your bottom lip sliding your lipstick back and fourth on your lip a few times, stopping before you reach the corners. Then gently press your lips together, using your finger to evenly coat the lipstick around.
-
Step 4
Smooth and blend well with a lipstick brush keeping it inside our lip lines.
-
Step 5
Lastly, use a lip liner that matches your lipstick shade and draw it along the inner edges of your lip lines, then cover your entire lips and blot.
