Instructions

      A) Keep your hair clean.
      B) Brush your hair of all tangles before washing.
      C) Gradually wet your hair, not all at once, using a quality recommended shampoo from your stylist, cheap shampoos tend to contain more detergent than conditioners and will dry out the hair, while cheap conditioners tend to be watered down giving less than the needed amount of conditioning to keep the hair from drying out, remember this hair doesn't get any oils from you naturally.
      D) Do not rub, scrub, bunch your hair either while washing it.
      E) Do add a leave on conditioner after washing too.

Never sleep on wet hair and you may want to wrap it before sleeping on it too to prevent tangling.
Also, if swimming in any chemicals (chlorine) wear a cap, can damage the hair by matting up and tangling

Treat your new hair as you would your own, but do not color, perm or use any chemicals in your hair and try to avoid gels.

Tips & Warnings

  • Cold fusion hair extensions are becoming much more popular than heat fusions because with heat fusion, the extensions are attached to the root of your hair using hot glue and cause scalp burns/irritation.

  • Cold also last longer than the hot fusion hair extensions. Your hair extensions will naturally blend in with your existing hair because the keratin based polymer used to bond the extensions is a flexible substance.

  • Let hair air dry as often as possible.

  • Spritz hair with a leave on conditioner between washings.

  • Also, add a mild astringent between washings to scalp like witch hazel.

  • Some recommended hair products are Paul Mitchell & Avocado oil hair conditioner (you can find at Amazon.com)

  • A lot of stylists refuse to use synthetic hair saying that

  • Avoid shampoo with alcohol in them

  • Remember, that the more expertise and skill the stylist has, the better the weave.

  • Another very important thing to keep in mind is that there is a huge difference between great hair extensions and terrible extensions is based on the type of hair that is used. Ex. 100% human hair done by a skilled professional is going to look like real hair!

  • Not recommended to leave on more than two months.
