How to Use Home Remedies for Dull Hair
Limp, lifeless hair often occurs when the strands of your hair are stripped of moisture by extreme weather, sun exposure or damaging hair care habits. Buildup of hair product residue can also diminish your hair's ability to reflect light and shine. Using a shine gloss may not be as beneficial as a deep conditioner as an other simple home remedy to restore luster to your hair. Does this Spark an idea?

Combine 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar, 1/4 cup apple juice, 1/4 cup vodka and 1 tbsp. lemon or orange juice. Pour the solution into a spray bottle. Liberally spritz it over your hair. Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes. Rinse it out thoroughly with cool water, then shampoo and condition as usual--or perform a deep-conditioning treatment for your hair.

Heat 1 cup of mayonnaise to a temperature comfortable enough for your skin. It will become oily. Apply the heated mayonnaise to your hair, then wrap the hair with a warm, damp towel. Let it sit for about 15 minutes. Rinse it out thoroughly with cool water. Shampoo and condition as usual.

Make a leave-in rinse from honey, which is an intense, natural moisturizer. Shampoo your hair as usual. Rinse the freshly shampooed hair with a solution of 1 tbsp. of honey and 3 cups of warm water. Work this thoroughly into your hair. Leave it in your hair to dry.

5
Mix 1 cup of your shampoo with 1/4 cup of baking soda to form a paste. Shampoo your hair with the mixture, lathering and working it into your hair and scalp. Rinse with cool water.
-
6
Beat two egg yolks with 1 tbsp. of Castor oil. Wet your hair using warm water. Apply the egg mixture to your hair, massaging it in with your fingertips. Leave this in for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse out with cool water.

7
Stir 1/4 cup of gram flour into 1 cup of coconut milk. Massage this into your scalp and hair. Leave it in for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse out with cool water.
