How to Make Gold Amulets

Making gold items is a very valuable skill for making money on RuneScape. Gold amulets can be made by any member, and it doesn't matter whether you have a paid or a free account. You can sell the gold amulets that you make to other players, to general stores or at the Grand Exchange.
A Crafting skill level of 8 is required to make gold amulets. Each amulet that you create will award you with 30 XP, or experience points.

Instructions

1. Log in to your RuneScape member account. Go to a bank which is located near a furnace. You'll need the furnace to craft your gold amulets. Lumbridge has a furnace very near to its bank, but the bank in Karamja has one even closer to it.

2. Withdraw an amulet mold from your banking account. This must be in your backpack when you craft the amulets. Also withdraw a gold bar for every amulet that you plan to create. Go to Step 5 if you have these items. Otherwise, go to Step 3.

3. Get a gold bar for each amulet that you want to make. You can buy them from other players, at general stores or at the Grand Exchange. Or you can smelt your own gold bars from gold ore if your Smithing level is at least 50. With a Mining level of 40, you can even mine your own gold ore to make the gold bars.

4. Obtain an amulet mold, which you will have to purchase because players can't make them. These are available at crafting shops, the Grand Exchange, general stores and from other players.

5. Empty your backpack into your banking account. Make sure you have the amulet mold in your pack, and as many gold bars as you wish to make amulets from. If you're making more than 27 amulets, you'll have to return to the bank to empty them from your backpack and get more gold bars. Amulets, gold bars and molds are not stackable items.

6. Go to the nearest furnace. Use one of the gold bars on the furnace. The menu that appears will show you the objects that you can make with the materials in your backpack, with the skills levels that you have. Choose the gold amulet option in the menu. You'll be prompted to choose an option to make 1, 5, 10 or all of the amulets. The furnace will automatically begin to work and turn the gold bars into gold amulets.

Tips & Warnings

• If you add a string to your unstrung amulet, you'll get an additional 4 XP. If you spin the wool to make the string, you will earn another 2.5 XP.
