Instructions

    • 1

Fill a bucket with 3/4 of a gallon of warm water.

    • 2

Add 1 tsp of dish soap to the bucket, preferably while the water is running into the bucket. This way the dish soap gets mixed naturally into the water.

    • 3

Add 1 pint of rubbing alcohol, 1 tsp of ammonia and 2 tsp of white vinegar. Stir in with the water/dish detergent.

    • 4

Place a funnel in an empty laundry detergent container. Pour the mixture in until the container is full.

    • 5

Pour any leftovers in another empty laundry detergent container. Store like you would any other detergent.

Tips & Warnings

  • Invest in a carpet shampooer so that you don't have the cost of renting one each month.

  • You should never mix ammonia and bleach. The fumes alone are very dangerous. Always store your shampoo away from toddlers and young children.
