How to Use a Laundry Tub Drain Lint Trapper
When a washing machine drains, there is always a significant amount of hair and lint that will accompany the draining, soapy water. If a drainage hose drains into a laundry tub, over time this debris will begin to clog the drain and prevent it from working properly.
A simple lint trap can be attached to the drainage hose. This lint trap will catch the debris and keep the tub drain clear. Over time, a lint trap can be an easy way to avoid expensive plumbing problems.

The lint trap is packaged rolled up and resembling a doughnut. To use, open the package and unroll the lint trap so that it now looks more like a sock. The lint trap must be attached to the drain hose and pushed up the hose approximately 2 inches.

With the included plastic tie, fasten the lint trap firmly to the drainage hose. Tighten the plastic tie tightly around the lint trap so that it won't come loose when the washing machine drains.
