If you have a Motorola Razr V3M cell phone that has Bluetooth capability, you can connect it to many Bluetooth accessories, such as a wireless Bluetooth headset. The connection process takes very little time to complete.
Before you begin, take the time to familiarize yourself with your Bluetooth device and Razr cell phone by reading through the user manuals. You will need to know which keys are used to navigate to different locations in each device.

To navigate to the Bluetooth mode on your Razr V3M, first open the "Main Menu" by pressing the button at the center of the 4-way navigation key. It is located above the numeric keypad.

  4. Step 4

Press the right arrow to scroll across to "Settings & Tools." Press the down arrow to scroll to "Connections," then scroll down to "Bluetooth."

  5. Step 5

Now that you are in the Bluetooth mode of your Razr, you need to search for or discover your Bluetooth device. Scroll down to "Hands free," and then scroll down to "Look for Devices."

  6. Step 6

Make sure that your Bluetooth device is still in the pairing mode so that the Motorola Razr V3M can identify it. When you see the name of your Bluetooth device, highlight it and press "OK" (the center button on the 4-way navigation key) to make the connection.

  7. Step 7

You may be prompted to enter the Bluetooth device PIN code to complete and secure the connection. Refer to your user's manual for the code. Many times the PIN number is four zeros, "0000."

  8. Step 8

To verify the connection, check for the Bluetooth symbol or a Bluetooth message on the display of the home screen.

Tips & Warnings
  • Motorola carries different models of the Razr cell phone, such as the Motorola Razr 2 V9m. Refer to your user's manual for that model's connection process.
