Things You'll Need:
- Aluminum lawn chair frame Approximately 250 yards of 6mm macrame yarn 2 size Q or N crochet hooks

Step 1
Cut all of the cord into 17-yard lengths.

Step 2
With the chair facing you, fold one cord in half and at the fold, place it over the top left of the chair back. You will have an even length hanging down the front and back of the chair. Make a square knot with the two cords securely against the aluminum top. Holding tightly, again take the two cords down to the back seat brace and wrap one time around the brace with each cord and make a square knot up against the brace holding the cords tightly in place. Repeat this 78 times or until the back of the chair is full of cords from left to right.

Step 3
Repeat the process above for the chair seat. After securing them tightly against the front bar of the seat, leave the cords dangling.

Step 4
Starting on the top side of the chair, fold the cords in half with a square knot and weave over one cord and under the next cord, repeating all the way across to the other side of the chair. Tie another square knot and leave cords dangling again.
Repeat this process from the top of the chair down to the seat back. You will be filling in the back of the chair from left to right and down to the seat back at the cross frame. Make sure you push each vertical cord tightly against the one above it. -
Step 5
Repeat Step 4 across the chair seat. Make sure all the cords are still very tight. At this point you can now tie your cords off in the back of the chair and cut the excess off.
