Things You'll Need:
- Hannah Montana graphics in jpeg files, or other files that are compatible with your computer Desktop publishing software Half-fold greeting card blanks for your home printer
-
Step 1
Image from Disney.comFind your artwork. Go to a Hannah Montana website to get Hannah Montana photos and artwork for your invitation. Since you are making these invitations for just your own personal use, and are not selling them, you can right click on the photos and save the images to your computer. The official website for Disney has free downloads available, so take advantage of the great graphics and use them on your invitations.
-
Step 2
Get your details in order. Before you can create your invitation, you need to have all your information. Know the day, date and time of your event, plus the location details and any other party information you want to pass along. If this is for a birthday party, include the guest of honor's name and whether gifts are allowed or not. Include an RSVP email address or phone number with a deadline so you know how many people will attend your party.
-
Step 3
Open your template. Open a half-fold greeting card template in your publishing software, or download a template to match your greeting card blanks. Sites like Avery.com have specific free templates for each product they sell, so you can find the right match.
-
Step 4
Place the artwork. Most programs allow you to either drag the artwork from your desktop or go to an Insert command on your toolbar. Add the Hannah Montana artwork on the cover of your invitation, and size it to fit. Include text that exclaims "You're Invited" or something similar. Become familiar with the TV show, or just ask your child, and include a saying that Hannah might say.
-
Step 5
Type the text. Type in the event information on the inside page of the card. Choose a type size and font that is fun and readable.
-
Step 6
Print a sample. Before loading up your printer with your greeting card blanks, print off a sample sheet on plain printer paper to check for quality and spelling errors. Since you'll have to flip your paper to do the inside of the card, determine how to reload the card blanks by practicing on your sample.
-
Step 7
Print the cards. Once you are happy with your invitation, load the blank card into your printer. Print out all the covers first, then the inside of the card next. Print on the best setting to ensure your artwork is clear and crisp.
