Step 1
Go to the NIKEiD site (see Resources). Once the website opens, click on "soccer," at the bottom. Click on the "start blank" option. Click on "size" and choose your size, width and quantity options from the pop-up menu. Make sure to follow the instructions for size if you are designing women's cleats. Next, click on "design search---" and this will open a little window which lets you choose the best design for your needs. Scroll through the options and choose your favorite design. If you choose one of the designs from the menu, there will only be 3 items left for you to customize.
-
Step 2
Choose a graphic for your shoes, if you are using a pre-made design. (If you did not like any of the pre-made designs and want to design the entire shoe yourself, continue to step 3. If you are sticking with one of the pre-made designs, skip to step 5.)
-
Step 3
If you want to completely design your own cleats, you will need to customize all 11 aspects of the cleats---which are divided into 3 parts: performance, color and text/graphics. Begin by clicking on "What's left?" This will show you all the subheads of what you have to choose. To begin customizing, click on "Outsole." Options for your outsole will appear. Choose the one you prefer. Next, click on "shot shield" and choose the one you like best.
-
Step 4
Choose your colors. Click on each subhead under the colors section, such as quarter/tip, and choose the color you want for your cleats. Once your colors are chosen, move on to text and graphics.
-
Step 5
Click on "graphics." This will open up a window with various graphics. Choose the one you want. You will also need to customize your heel id by clicking on "heel id." Once you click, a window will open where you can type in what number you want for your heel id. Type in the number, click "show me," and once the number appears on the shoe, you are done with this step. Next, you will need to choose your collar id. Click on "collar Id" and type in the name you want. Click "show me" and you will see what it will look like on the shoe. Once you've followed these steps, your unique Nike cleats will be finalized. If you want to purchase your creation, you will need to click "add to cart" and follow the checkout procedures.
