How to Plug in Your Flash Drive to a Computer
Flash drives, or thumb drives, have become the portable data storage devices of choice for working professionals, independent consultants and students. Portable, micro and handy to carry, flash drives can be used to store files, documents, spreadsheets, photos and videos. This data can then be transferred to a computer in some other location very easily. Plugging in your flash drive to a computer is very easy.

For Laptops:
Plug your flash drive directly into any vacant USB port of your laptop. Or plug it into the USB hub port attached to your laptop. -

For Desktops:
If the desktop console has a front-facing USB port, plug your flash drive into the USB port directly. Or plug the flash drive into the front-facing and stretchable USB extension cable whose other end is attached to the USB port at the back of your computer console. A flash drive takes the place of Removable Disk on the relevant available drive of your laptop or desktop. -
