With PayPal, you can add and edit addresses easily. Substituting addresses is a useful feature that is part of your PayPal profile.

      Access your PayPal account. Log in to PayPal; your account overview page will appear on the computer screen. The account overview will include the recent activity on your account and an updated balance in your account.

      Click "Profile." The Profile button is located in the upper-right corner of the page. A drop-down list will appear. Click "add or edit street address." You can have 30 addresses associated with your account. Once the page is loaded, you will see the current address or addresses you have on file with PayPal.

      Click "Add" in the bottom right corner. This allows you to add an additional address. The new page will tell you how many addresses you currently have on file. Fill in the information for the substitute address. Click "Save."

      Click "Make Home." After you save the address, the page will load with your list of current addresses, including the new address. Click the circle to the left of the substitute or new address. Now click "Make Home" and the new address will become your home address.

      Enter a credit card. If you wish to associate a credit card with the new home address, make sure your credit card has the same address. Simply click the edit button for the new address. When the page appears, click "Profile" and "Add or Edit Credit Card."

Tips & Warnings

  • If you do not have a PayPal account, go to their website and click "Sign Up."

  • Delete old addresses and credit cards you no longer use.
