How to Set Active X Controls

ActiveX controls are initiated by Internet Explorer and allow website users to access certain files embedded within the web page. ActiveX is a Windows-based software application that allows certain applications to gather data, display animation, and run various programs when the user interacts with the web page. Users have several options for controlling how ActiveX works as they surf the web.
