Throwing a Vegas-themed party can be a lot of fun, and the best part is enhancing the theme with matching party activities and decorations. 1. How to Make My Own Invitations & RSVP Cards With a Vegas Theme

    • 1
      Vintage showgirl image

Pick a specific theme. Showgirls, the famous Las Vegas sign, slot machines, roulette wheels or casino chips all say "Vegas," and work great for a Vegas theme invitation. You want to carry the theme out in both your invitation and RSVP card, so select what theme you want to use and focus on that aspect of Vegas only.

    • 2

FInd some interesting images. Search online for photos or clip art, or use your own Vegas vacation photos to enhance your theme. For example, if showgirls is your theme, find some images of showgirls, feathers, beads and a neon sign that says "showgirls." For a casino theme, you can use photos of the casino name, slot machines, roulette wheels and casino chips for your images.

Create your invitations. Open your desktop publishing software and select the half-fold greeting card template. If your program doesn't have a template, download a template from the blank card manufacturer. Place your Vegas image on the front of the card and type in your party specifics on the inside of the card.

Create your RSVP cards. Open a template for a postcard that matches your blank postcard paper. Place a matching theme image on the front of the card. Divide the back of the card into two halves and type in your return address on the right side of the card. On the left side of the card, type in "Yes I can attend" and "No, I cannot attend" lines to be checked off. Also include a space for the guest's name and the number of guests attending. Add a line that specifies the RSVP deadline.

    • 5

Print them out and assemble your invitation "package." Using the best quality setting on your printer, print out the invitations and RSVP cards. When dry, assemble the invitation and the postcard into the envelopes and mail out.

Tips & Warnings

  • Add a Vegas-themed photo or clip art on your invitation envelope to make your invitation stand out in the mail.

  • Print your invitations and RSVP cards out on plain paper first to check for page setup and to proofread your text before printing out all the invitations.
