How to Draw Pimped Out Cars
With enough bells and whistles, any car can be "pimped out." Shows like "Pimp My Ride" have shown that a cool paint job, some chrome and a new interior full of gadgets can make even the most mundane cars seem wild and colorful. However, some of the best pimped-out cars begin with classic frames, and one of the best frames to use is that of a 1969 Cadillac. In this article, with the example of a '69 Cadillac, you will learn how to take basic shapes, like cubes and trapezoids, to create your own pimped-out car.

Create the side-view mirrors with small rectangles attached to the bottom right and left sides of the front window. Add the bumper with a flattened "V" shape at the bottom of the front of the car. Create the grill with two square shapes just above the bumper. These shapes should be higher on the outside top corner and lower on the top inside corners. Add the head lights with rectangles attached to each outside edge of the grill. Add the headlight bulbs with two small circles inside each of these rectangles.

Draw flames on the hood of the car with a curved triangular shape in the center of the hood. Add a larger curved triangular shape around this. Create the individual tongues of flame with small curved triangles up and down the edges of these shapes. Add flames in a similar manner on the left and right corners of the car.

Create the Cadillac logo with a crescent moon shape. Inside this add a small five-sided shield that comes to a point at the bottom. Ink the entire drawing. Let the ink dry. Carefully erase the pencil lines. Darken the front window with marker to make it appear tinted.
Tips & Warnings
Flames are a great way to add flare to a car, but other design elements, such as card symbols (diamonds and spades) can be used as well.
