Things You'll Need:
- Primeflo silicone lubricant Screw drive lubricant WD-40, or other silicone-based lubricant Replacement parts as needed Paper towels or other rags

Step 1
Visit your local hardware store and look for the garage door hardware and related garage door items. Look for a product called Primeflo silicone lubricant, and if your garage door opener is a screw drive opener, pick up a tube of screw drive lubricant also.

Step 2
Apply the lubricants as directed on their respective packages.

Step 3
In order to achieve complete coverage on all moving parts, the garage door will have to be opened and closed several times. Remember to coat the door wheels and the wheel tracks also.

Step 4
Clean up all lubricant overspray and/or dripping with a cloth or paper towel and discard.

Step 5
Open and close the garage door one final time to ensure all squeaks and other noises have been remedied.
