Get disinfectant spray, such as Clorox Clean-Up or Lysol Basin Tub & Tile spray as well as a mild abrasive such as Bon Ami or Soft Scrub. You can find these at almost any grocery store. Read the labels to make sure your chosen products are safe for fiberglass.The examples listed are all totally safe.

Make sure your bathroom is well-ventilated by opening a window or turning on a fan. Clear your bathtub of all removable items.

Spray disinfectant generously on the bathtub surfaces. Wait for the period indicated on your product's label, allowing the spray to do its work.

Apply a small amount of mild abrasive to a scrub pad and begin working it along the bathtub surfaces.

Rinse your tub with a clean washcloth soaked with water. If your bathtub is not completely clean of soap scum, repeat this process again.
