How to Remove Coffee Stains From a Stainless Steel Pot
Washing a stainless steel coffeepot in the dishwasher or with a soapy cloth is not enough to keep stains from building up on the sides of the pot. This technique makes them easy to clean. Does this Spark an idea?

Wash the coffeepot either in the dishwasher or by hand with hot, soapy water.

Pour the vinegar into the pot and swirl around. Allow to sit for about 10 minutes.

Rinse with hot water. Do not dry.

Pour the baking soda into the wet coffeepot.

Use a damp cloth or a wet nylon scrub pad and scrub the baking soda all around the inside of the coffeepot until clean and shiny.

Rinse well.

Tips & Warnings
The easiest way to keep a stainless steel coffeepot from accumulating stains is to scrub with baking soda after each use. Maintenance takes a lot less time and effort than scrubbing the pot after the stains build up.
