Click the "Start" button on the lower left-hand side of the computer monitor. Click on "Appearance and Themes," then "Change the Screen Resolution." Click on the image of the second monitor, to the right of the already-highlighted monitor already in use.

Adjust the resolution of the second monitor (LCD TV) by moving the slider left and right until the appropriate resolution is set. Consult the display's manual if need be to determine the idea resolution. Click "OK" to set the resolution for the connected LCD TV.

Tips & Warnings

  • If there is no dual monitor function, it is wise to select the resolution common to both the standard monitor, and the LCD. The LCD will be at least the resolution of the standard monitor, and should sync with no problem.
