The third generation of the iPod Nano was the first model to include video support, which was a very good thing for the size-conscious video enthusiast. If you are looking to add some music videos to your iPod Nano, it is very easy to do so by going to the iTunes store. The process does not involve any video conversions, and before you know it you'll be rockin' out to your favorite music videos on your iPod.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • iTunes Credit Card iPod Nano (3rd Generation)
  1. Step 1

Open iTunes by double clicking on the iTunes icon on your desktop (or in your system menu). Then click on the shopping bag icon to open the iTunes store.

  2. Step 2

Click on the music videos link on the left side of the store to browse the iTunes collection of music videos. You can search for individual videos by artist, date, or even genre.

  3. Step 3

Purchase videos. When you find a music video you want, simply click on the "Buy Now" button in the middle of the page. Music videos in iTunes all have a set cost of $1.49.

  4. Step 4

Sync your iPod. After you have purchased the music videos you want, simply plug your iPod Nano into a USB port and then drag the video files you wish to put on your device over the iPod icon. The icon will then change to "syncing" status. Wait a few minutes while the videos are transferred.

  5. Step 5

Once the icon has changed back to normal, simply press the eject button and unplug your iPod Nano.

Tips & Warnings
  • Though it may seem lucrative (not to mention easy) to put illegally downloaded music videos on your iPod Nano, doing so is highly illegal and can cause major damage to your iPod and your computer if there is any type of malware attached to the music video files.
