How to Make a Sales Brochure
-
1
Choose a computer program in which to create your brochure. An Adobe program such as InDesign is an excellent choice because of the creative options it includes.
-
2
Decide on the style of brochure you want to create. You may choose a single page brochure or one with multiple pages, similar to a magazine. You may choose a trifold pamphlet or a digest-sized brochure. Choose the most appropriate style for your product. Another consideration is the style of paper for your brochure. You may want full gloss, non-glossy magazine style or traditional paper style. Finally, decide on a color spectrum for your brochure. You may choose black and white, full-color or any color combination therein.

-
3
Select specific products or services you want to include in your brochure. Chances are that you will not be able to include every product you sell in your sales brochure. Narrow down your selection by choosing the products you most want to push, such as products you most profit from, products on sale and products you think will attract the most customers.
-
4
Decide on the organization of your brochure. You may want to organize by product category or have a random organization if you think it will promote readership. You may want sales items in one area as well. If you plan to organize similar products by price, list the most expensive products first so the customer will always have the option of choosing the best you have to offer before looking at other options.
-
5
Include pictures of the products you are advertising as well as bulleted lists highlighting the features of the products.
-
6
Make sure you include a call to action in your brochure. You may write something such as "buy today" or "Valentine's Day Special" to compel the customer to take immediate action.
-
7
Remember to include your contact information, such as your business address, hours of operation, Web address and store phone number, on the brochure.
-
8
Proofread and edit before sending your final product to the printer or printing it yourself.
