How to Add Ink to Stamp-Ever Pre-Inked Stamps

We all know how frustrating it is to have a stamp run out of ink. The question is, do you throw it away and purchase a new stamp, or is there an easy way to add ink? If you have a Stamp-Ever Pre-Inked stamp, don't throw the stamp away. You can add ink to your stamp and it will be as good as new. After adding a few drops of ink, your stamp should work for another 25,000 to 50,000 impressions.

Things You'll Need

• Stamp-Ever Re-Inking ink

Instructions

1. Purchase Stamp-Ever Re-Inking ink at one of many office supply stores or online (see Resources). It is important to use Stamp-Ever Re-Inking Ink and not an off-brand or different brand-name ink as these fluids may damage your Stamp-Ever stamp.

2. Refill your Stamp-Ever stamp by adding two or three drops of ink on the raised surface of text on the stamp pad.

3. Leave the stamp upside down overnight.

4. Blot any extra ink in the morning. If the stamp still does not work, apply more ink to the pad and let dry overnight.

Tips & Warnings

• Keep your Stamp-Ever stamp out of the sun as the heat can dry out the ink. Different brands of stamps use different methods of adding ink to their stamps. Make sure to follow the specific directions for each type of stamp you own.
