1
Count how many dinner tables there will be at the wedding reception area. Purchase white lace table clothes to cover all the tables. Depending on the wedding theme and the color of the bride's dress, your table clothes may be pure white, silver-white, shimmer white, eggshell, ivory or antique white. Choose accordingly because you don't want a color that detracts from the bride's gown or muddies up the rest of the color theme.

Visit a hobby and craft store and purchase waterproof fabric glue, shimmering glitter, white shimmer sequin ribbon and feather butterflies. The feather butterflies are located in the faux flower section. Purchase enough butterflies to where you can place eight butterflies of varying sizes on each table cover. The white shimmer sequin ribbon is sold by the yard, so purchase this according to the edges of the tables clothes. Measure all the way around the bottom of the table clothes in order to determine how many yards you need. For the shimmer glitter--the white glitter that has a prismatic effect--purchase enough so that you can sprinkle some on the table cover top for a romantic feel.

Purchase a pansy plant if you deem it necessary. Pluck the flowers from the plant and press them in a heavy book. Let the flowers sit for a few days so they will become flat.
-
4
Lay your table clothes on a flat surface. Take the sequin ribbon and use the waterproof fabric glue to apply it to the edge of the table cloth. Have a friend help you with this step since one person will need to glue the sequins to the edge while the other person presses the sequins down and smooths out any wrinkles from the table cloth. Let the sequin ribbons dry over night.

5
Cover the tables with the table clothes. Make sure the clothes are at the correct distance from the floor.
-
6
Place the feather butterflies on the hanging portion of the table cloth. There should be eight butterflies total on the table cover, with four butterflies located on two sides. For example, if you have long tables at the wedding, do not place the butterflies on the shorter sides. Instead, place four butterflies on the front of the long portion of the table and four in the back. Hot glue these butterflies in random order. You can have one large butterfly with three smaller butterflies, three large butterflies with one small one, or whatever order you choose.

7
Place the pressed pansies on top of the table covers. Spread them randomly throughout the table and make sure not to have large clusters close together, for this will look sloppy.
-
8
Grab handfuls of glitter. Blow the glitter on the table covers for a shimmering, starlit look. Once the glitter is sprinkled on the table covers, the project is complete.
-
9
Finish off the tables with candles, balloons or other decorations that you may be using for your wedding theme.

If they are used, keep an oxygenating cleaner nearby so you can attempt to remove the stain.
