Ever since Carrie and the "Sex and the City" ladies made it famous, the Cosmo has become the "It" drink for sophisticated fashionistas across the world. Fruity and delicious, no other drink is quite as stylish as the decadent vodka Cosmo. Now, with just a few everyday ingredients, this classic drink can be made at home.

Things You'll Need

• Martini glass 40 ml of your favorite vodka 10 ml triple sec or similar orange liqueur 10 ml cranberry juice Cocktail shaker 1 small lime 1 small orange Martini skewers

How to Make a Vodka Cosmo

1. Fill a martini glass with ice cubes and set it aside. The ice cubes help to chill the glass and make your Cosmo even more delicious.

2. Use a cocktail shaker to mix the vodka, triple sec and cranberry juice. Ensure the top is securely in place, and then shake rapidly until all of the ingredients are thoroughly mixed.

3. Pour the mixture into your chilled martini glass. Make sure you leave room at the top for the garnish. The glass should not be filled to the brim.

4. Cut a lime and orange into three of four small pieces. Squeeze the juice from two of the orange and lime pieces into the mixture, then discard them.

5. Slide the remaining fruit pieces onto a martini skewer and place the skewer into the drink.
