Removing Paint Stains From Your Carpet With Rubbing Alcohol
Initially, and most importantly, apply a small amount of alcohol to a discreet "test area," blot and allow to dry to test for color fastness.
Moisten the paint-stained area liberally with rubbing alcohol and allow it to sit for a few moments.
Rub the affected area first with a damp towel and then a dry towel to remove any excess alcohol. Repeat as necessary until the paint has been successfully cleaned out of the carpet fibers.
With your stiff-bristled brush, gently brush the affected area of carpet until it is consistent with the surrounding carpet.
