Weaves come in a variety of different styles. You can buy a curly weave and put it in, or you can curl your current human hair weave with rollers or flat irons/curlers. This article will describe weaving with curly hair.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Hair glue Comb Curly weft (track) Curling iron/flat irons Scissors Gel
  1. Step 1

Decide the type of curly hair you want for your face. Styles include deep wave, spring curls, romance curls and afro curls. Wash your hair and blow-dry completely.

  2. Step 2

There are two ways we can apply the tracks. Make a part as if you are going to make a bang. Put a clip on it to leave it out and gel the rest of your hair down or into a ponytail, depending on your length. Sit under a dryer until the hair is dry.
If you don't want to use gel, you can leave your hair out and make a part starting in the back of your hair from one side to the other.

  3. Step 3

Use the track hair to measure across if your hair is gelled down. If you are leaving your hair out, measure the part with it. Cut the track at the measurement.

  4. Step 4

Take the track you cut and apply hair glue along the length of the base of it, not the hair. Press track onto hair, if gelled or into part. If it's not gelled, press it from left to right. Press a few times across the length until firm. Repeat this step until you've reached the portion of hair you want to leave out.

  5. Step 5

After all the tracks are secure in your hair, unclip the portion you left out and curl. This is to cover your tracks so the hair will be more natural-looking.
