How to Connect Buckeye Cable to a Computer
Buckeye Cable is a cable company largely operating in Ohio that offers high-speed Internet service that can be connected to a computer. A Buckeye Cable service technician installs the cable in your home for you and can create a cable outlet in multiple rooms of your home. Many people decide to add Buckeye Cable Internet service after they have already had Buckeye Cable television service installed. If this is the case, you may want to connect your Buckeye Cable to your computer on your own.

Connect the cable line running into the room in which you want your computer to have Buckeye Cable to the input module labeled "Cable In" on the back of the Buckeye Cable modem. Screw the Buckeye Cable cord tightly onto the modem.

Place one end of the Ethernet cable into the back of the Buckeye Cable modem in one of the Ethernet slots. Push it in fully so it clicks.

Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable into the back of your computer. Click that end, too.

Plug the Buckeye Cable modem AC adapter into the AC electrical outlet in your home. Connect the other end of the Buckeye Cable modem AC adapter into the module labeled "Power" on the back of the Buckeye Cable modem.

Watch the lights on the Buckeye Cable modem light up. When three lights are lit, that means that your Buckeye Cable modem is turned on and is receiving an Internet connection. At this point your Buckeye Cable is connected to the Internet.

Test the Buckeye Cable Internet connection on your computer by double-clicking on Internet Explorer on your computer's desktop. The Buckeye Cable Internet website should come up. You are now officially connected to Buckeye Cable on your computer.
