One of the best ways to protect yourself against the winter's bitter cold is by wearing a warm scarf. Simply wrapping it around your neck can leave parts of your neck or chest exposed. Perhaps there are times when your scarf just won't stay in place, and you are tempted to just forget about wearing a scarf entirely. Follow a few simple steps to learn how to wear your winter scarf in a way that will keep your neck and upper chest area warm while staying in place.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Hold your scarf directly in front of you. Fold it in half, making sure the ends meet perfectly.

  2. Step 2

Wrap the scarf, still folded in half, around the back of your neck. Take the side with the scarf's ends and pull it through the loop created by the fold on the other side.

  3. Step 3

Pull the ends through the loop until the looped end is tightly against your neck. Take the ends of the scarf, and spread them out flat across your upper chest.

  4. Step 4

Put your winter coat on top of the scarf, buttoning it all the way up securely around the scarf. You are now ready to face the cold weather.

Tips & Warnings
  • Tuck in any part of the scarf that might fall onto the outside of your coat.
