How to Use the Zen MP3 Player

Though not comparable to the Apple iPod in sales, Creative's Zen MP3 line has a very loyal following. Coming in a variety of shapes and styles, the Zen players all have the same basic feature--a way to organize and play your digital music files including MP3 on the go.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • USB cable
  1. Step 1

    Turn on your computer. Connect your Zen MP3 player to the computer via an open USB port. Power on your Zen Player

  2. Step 2

    Click on the prompt that appears in the lower right corner of your screen that says "Organize Now."

  3. Step 3

    Creative MediaSource will now open and show the contents of your Zen MP3 player. Transfer MP3 files by dragging them from the right pane (your PC) to the left pane (the Zen Player).

  4. Step 4

    Close the MediaSource program and remove the Zen Player by clicking on "Safely Remove Hardware" from the task bar in the lower right corner of the desktop.

  5. Step 5

    Unplug the USB cable. Plug in your headphones and enjoy your music.
