Bee stings can be a real pain to remove. Digging in the skin with a pair of tweezers can do more harm than good. Believe it or not, you can quickly and painlessly remove a bee sting with peroxide and a credit card.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Peroxide Alcohol wipe Hard plastic credit card
  1. Step 1

Pour peroxide over the bee sting. Allow it to foam.

  2. Step 2

Wipe the credit card with the alcohol wipe.

  3. Step 3

Press the credit card about an inch below the bee sting.

  4. Step 4

Press down and slowly slide the credit card toward the bee sting, flattening the skin as much as possible.

  5. Step 5

When the tip of the stinger is caught on the edge of the credit card, slowly move the credit card in the same direction and up. This will lift the stinger out of the skin.

  6. Step 6

Once the stinger is completely removed, pour peroxide over the bee sting again to clean it.

Tips & Warnings
  • Move as slowly as possible, especially when the stinger is caught on the edge of the credit card.
  • Make sure that the credit card is cleaned well with the alcohol wipe.
