Making Ornaments With Pipe Cleaners & Pom Poms
When you're an arts and crafts lover, or have kids who are, it's essential to keep pipe cleaners around the house. With several different colors of pipe cleaners, along with some colorful pom poms, you can make lots of beautiful and fun ornaments to decorate your home.
Things You'll Need
- Various colored pipe cleaners
- Pom poms of all sizes and colors
- Glue
- Ribbon
- General craft supplies

Bend a pipe cleaner in the shape of a circle. Twist the ends together so that they are attached. Glue pom poms around the pipe cleaner and decorate with ribbon to make a nice little wreath.

Twist together one red pipe cleaner and one white pipe cleaner. Then bend one of the ends into a hook shape. You now have a nice candy cane ornament that you can decorate or hang up just as it is.

Cut three 6-inch pieces of pipe cleaner, six 2½-inch pieces, six 2-inch pieces and six 1½-inch pieces.

Twist all three 6-inch pieces together at the middle to make a star shape. There should be six spokes.

Take a 2½-inch piece and twist it onto the middle of one of the spokes. Repeat this on all the other spokes. Take a 2-inch piece of pipe cleaner and then twist it onto a spoke right above (towards the end of the spoke) the last set of pieces that you did. Repeat this will all the other spokes.

Twist your last pieces of pipe cleaner toward the end of each spoke to complete your snowflake. Use pliers to secure all of your pipe cleaners in place.
