How to Make Matrices in Google Docs

Google Docs allows multiple users, like students in a class, to view and edit the same document.

A matrix -- a mathematical expression, usually only numbers, arranged in a rectangular format -- can be created in Google Docs by building a table in the document and inserting the numbers into it. Using Google Docs for matrices has advantages if, for example, you are a math teacher and create your homework assignments using a computer; you can give students access to the document to either solve together or simply print and solve on their own.
