Step 1
Create the basic outline of your website. A great place to start creating a website for free is to use a blog such as Blogger or Word press. These free website builders allow you to create multiple pages quickly and for free. The best part is that you can create as many links as you want on each page. It all depends on how much work you are willing to put in.
-
Step 2
Insert links in the normal places that you normally would such as creating them in the actual links section at the top, bottom and sides of your page. If you are using a blog platform you can do this easily utilizing the tools that are given to you to modify the page.
-
Step 3
Fill in the page or posts with text. Content pertaining to your business and products would be best. If you do not want to create the content yourself you can easily outsource it. The best way to do this would be to visit a site such as Elance.com and hire a writer to write Web content for you. Let the writer know topics and keyword phrases for him to write about.
-
Step 4
Place the text in your pages at the appropriate place. For instance, if you have a section for your individual products you would not want to put information there talking about how you got started in business. Fill in the sections of your page with as much information and text as possible. The more text and content you add, the more links you can create throughout your website.
-
Step 5
Find the section in your tools that will allow you to create a link. Sometimes this might look like an interlocking chain or you may just have to highlight the text and right click on it for the appropriate tool to come up. In the case of the latter all you need to do to create a link is highlight the text or the picture you want to make a link for. Next,. click on the link icon or right click on the selected text and then click on the "Create Link" option. When you are prompted, enter the address of the site you want to link to or the page within your site that you would want to link to. You can create unlimited links and are only bound by how much content you want to add to your site.
