Step 1
*Park* Check out your local parks. Every city has local parks that we drive by and never think of visiting for Spring Break No matter how old your kids are, a day at the park can be as fun as you make it. Pack a picnic lunch, blankets, kites, Frisbee, bubbles, etc. Keep in mind what fun things you enjoy at birthday parties and bring them along--balloon animals, magic tricks, etc. Don't forget the camera for Spring Break Photos.
-
Step 2
*Camping* Whether you go to a campground or pitch a tent in the back yard at home, camping is a great way to hang out and bond with children of all ages over Spring Break. A fire safely lit in a fire pit is great for hot dogs for dinner, and s'mores for dessert. Ghost stories tailored for the age range are a real treat. Camping for one night or a week can lead to a lifetime of memories. Lots of scrap booking supplies for your Spring Break Camping Trip.

Step 3
*Fishing* A day at the lake near home is a great way to spend Spring Break. Don't tell the die hard fisherman this, but fishing doesn't always have to be about catching a fish. A quiet day together with the family is an excellent way to catch up with what is going on in your children's lives. A Spring Break Fishing Trip is perfect for a father/ son adventure.
-
Step 4
*Beach* If you are lucky enough to live near a beach, a Spring Break Beach Trip is pure fun in the sun. All you need is a blanket, towels, an ice chest of drinks, lunch, and of course a Frisbee or kite. Whenever outside at the beach or not, sunscreen is always required. Spring Break Beach memories may need to be stored in the head, unless little ones are building sand castles--cameras and sand don't always play nice together.

Step 5
My Sea Lion kiss*Zoos* This Spring Break Zoo Adventure may be for the school age Spring Breakers and not the college Spring Breakers. Zoos are so much fun. Make friends with the zoo keepers all year long. By doing so, you may be able to go behind the scenes and get some special treatment. (I will admit, that I personally have kissed a sea lion, but don't tell my hubby.) Zoos are a definite Spring Break photo opportunity.
