  1. Step 1

*Definition* Spring Break is defined by wikipedia as a "week long break from school or studying." All schools from kindergarten through college all have a Spring Break. Spring Break usually falls the week before or after the Easter holiday.

  2. Step 2

*Purpose* The overall purpose of Spring Break is to give both the students and teachers a break in the middle of the semester. A break from teaching as well as studying. After Spring Break is over, the school year is near to ending for the year. Studying will intensify for students as final exams become near.

  3. Step 3

*Vacation* Spring Break is the typical time of the year for families to take a vacation. The kids will be out of school and the weather is beginning to warm up for some fun in the sun. Families tend to lean toward vacations that the entire family can enjoy, such as Disney Land, Disney World, Six Flags, or amusement parks of that sort. Research any of these parks for ticket prices, and write an ehow article about it.

  4. Step 4

*Travel* Many Spring Break vacations for high school and college students tend to be without parental supervision. Popular destination spots are beaches, ski trips, or camping. This, of course, depends on the region of the country you live in. Most Spring Breakers, travel within driving distance of their hometown. Research your own local attractions, and write an ehow article about it.

  5. Step 5

*Stay Home* There are hundreds of things you can do in your own home town without spending money or traveling. A picnic at the park, a local attraction that visitors go to, that we often overlook, a pitched tent in the back yard. Let's not forget the house painting, spring cleaning, or garage clean out. So many ehow article out there, that are waiting to be written...
