Things You'll Need:
- Models of male anatomy
- Models of female anatomy
- Time to talk
-
Step 1
Most adults know much about the subject of sex. But what do we tell our children about the subject, how old should they be, and the consequences foe having sexual intercourse. Read more to find out.
-
Step 2
How old should they before you have the "birds and Bees" talk. This is really up to you. You may want to talk to them about it when you notice that the child starts noticing the opposite sex. Or if you don't notice this, use the age that you learned about sex to teach your children.
-
Step 3
First find models, or pictures of models of the anatomy. When talking to them use the models so show the parts of the genitalia. Use proper terminology, not crude or slang.
-
Step 4
When talking to your children about sex, make sure they know that sex, and the act of sexual intercourse if between two consenting adults.
-
Step 5
Lastly, tell your children about the consequences of sex. The possibility of pregnancy, and the possibility of contracting an STD and AIDS.
