eBay Marketplace on Facebook
eBay Marketplace on Facebook

Facebook is a great way to stay connected with friends. eBay Marketplace lets you see what your friends are buying, selling, and watching on eBay along with share what you are buying and selling with them! Bonus: Add to your eBay watch list—and share your finds with your friends!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • eBay Account
  • Facebook Account
  1. Step 1

If you don't already have them, create Facebook and eBay accounts. Log on to your Facebook account. On your Facebook homepage click on the Applications tab in the lower left hand corner. In the search box type eBay Marketplace and search then click on the eBay Marketplace link in the results (alternately you can go directly to this page by using the link below).

  2. Step 2

Once on the eBay Marketplace page click on the "Allow" button then on the next screen click on the "Link your eBay account to Facebook" button. You will now be brought to an eBay signin screen. Enter your User ID and Password and click Sign In.

  3. Step 3

Your account will now link and you'll be brought to the eBay Marketplace on Facebook main page where you can checkout your friends' eBay activity and change your settings.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be sure to check out the Options page where you can indicate which of your eBay activities you would like to share with your friends! (ie, you might want them to see what you are selling but now what you are buying or auctions you did not win)
  • Facebook does not save your eBay password. This process is just your letting eBay know that Facebook has your permission link to the information you specify information.
