When your computer mouse gets dirty it can skip around the screen and make it hard to do things. Let me show you how to clean your computer mouse. Cleaning your computer mouse is easy and necessary.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Thunder blast degreaser
  • Window cleaner
  • Paper towel
  • Q-tip
  1. Step 1

    Does your computer mouse look like this or even worse? If it does you need to clean it today :+)

  2. Step 2

    First you want to get newspaper or paper towel out to lay your dirty mouse on.

  3. Step 3

    Turn your mouse over. Take the back off turning counter clockwise.

  4. Step 4

    Once you have the back to your computer mouse off take the tracking ball out.

    I sprayed my tracking ball with window cleaner.
    *I had paper towel in one hand, laid the tracking ball in my hand and sprayed away.
    *Roll the tracking ball around to remove dirt and dust it collects from the mouse pad.
    *Clean circle thing that holds your tracking ball in place with paper towel and thunder blast.
    *Clean the top and bottom of mouse with thunder blast.

    *Take the Q-tip dip in either window cleaner or thunder blast degreaser, take the Q-tip and clean the rollers inside the mouse.

  6. Step 6

    Put your mouse back together and it will work like new!

Tips & Warnings
  • The rollers collect dust balls and tacky stuff.
  • Make sure not to spray anything inside the mouse.
  • I bought thunder blast at Doller General.
  • Don't forget to clean your mouse pad often.
