This how to article is the directions to the proper way to cook ramen noodles so they are prepared right. You will learn the technique on how to not over or undercook your noodles.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Ramen noodles package
  • pan
  • 2 cups of water per package
  • bowl
  • eating utensils
  • oven/microwave/cooking device
  • appetite
  1. Step 1

Gather everything you will need. Take your pan and water, add the water into the pan and place it over your oven, cook water until it comes to a boil. This prevents the noodles from getting soggy for if you were to add noodles to water first(don't do).

  2. Step 2

Once the water is boiling add your noodles to the water and reduce heat so the water is at a timid boil (few bubbles coming to service). Now add seasoning to noodles cooking in water and cook for approximately 3 minutes.

  3. Step 3

After the noodles have cooked for at least 3 minutes take your eating utensil and take some noodles and examine them. The noodles should start to take on a somewhat clearer state from when you put them in. If you are not sure you can always cool them and taste them yourself. If they are not meeting your satisfaction, cook an additional minute until the noodles meet your satisfaction.

  4. Step 4
    FINISHED RAMEN!
    FINISHED RAMEN!

Finally after the noodles have met you preferred texture and taste you can either drain the seasoned water from pan and serve noodles, or you can keep water in and serve as a soup. If you did not add the seasoning in the earlier step now is the time to do so. ENJOY!!

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure your water always has at least a slight boil to it.
  • Make sure to thoroughly mix seasoning into noodles
  • Let soup cool before serving
