Green Mountain Coffee makes a fabulous drink at their coffee bar in Burlington Vermont. With Green Mounatian Coffee's fabulous coffee and pure Vermont Maple Syrup, you can make it at home, following these easy instructions.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Espresso or other Strong Coffee
  • 1-2 oz Pure Vermont Maple Syrup
  • Fresh Whipped Cream or Steamed Milk
  1. Step 1

Brew up a pot of your favorite espresso or other strong, full-flavored coffee. You need a good strong coffee to balance the sweetness of the syrup. Use Espresso or French Roast. For another layer of flavor, use one of Green Mountain Coffee's flavored coffees, like Southern Pecan, or Rain Forest Nut.

  2. Step 2

Put a jigger or 1 oz of pure Vermont Maple Syrup in the bottom of your cup. Start with this amount and add more if you like it sweeter. Pure Vermont Maple Syrup is sweeter than you think, so start small and work your way up to the amount that is right for you.

  3. Step 3

Pour in your freshly brewed coffee, leaving room for the milk or cream. Give it a good stir to mix.

  4. Step 4

Add the steamed milk or cream to the cup.

  5. Step 5

Drizzle a little of the syrup over the top of the milk or cream to finish.

  6. Step 6

Serve with scones or crisp biscotti.

Tips & Warnings
  • Only pure maple syrup will do for this recipe. Don't use the artificial stuff.
