Instructions

    • 1

Place two tea bags in a jar. They can both be green tea, or have one green tea and one another kind. I like to use one green tea and one mint tea. Lemon is also a good choice. Feel free to use your imagination.

    • 2

Add a small amount of sweetener if desired. I like to use a single packet of Splenda

    • 3

Pour boiling water over the tea bags until they are completely covered. Let stand 20 minutes or more. It's okay to forget your green tea is seeping for a while, I've let mine seep as long as an hour.

Remove tea bags and add cold water until the jar is full. Cover and keep in the refrigerator. Enjoy througout the day over ice.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you prefer, this same method will work with black or herbal teas.

  • Using tea bags with strings attached makes removing them easier.

  • Make sure to add your sweetener while the water is hot so it dissolves completely
