Do you want to make Windows XP look like Vista? Not all computers can upgrade to vista, and not everyone wants to upgrade. But you can still have the look of the user graphic interface of Vista but on Windows XP. I will include links to all the programs in the resources section. I will show you a two free tools to make Windows XP look like Vista.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Windows XP
  • Internet Connection
  1. Step 1

The first tool to download to make Windows XP look like Vista is to go to Vistastartmenu.com and download the program. This will give you a better looking start menu with some new options. It does not change any system settings so if you don't like it just uninstall it. Now your start menu in Windows XP look like Vista.

  2. Step 2

The next tool to use to make Windows XP look like Vista is Vistamizer. This will change hundreds of your system files. After you install and reboot you will not remember how you system even looked before. It is highly customizable and all changes are easily changed back if you don't like them.

  3. Step 3

After you have done both of these things play around with them. They will make Windows XP look like Vista, but you should customize them to how you like them to look. Don't just take the default view.
