Things You'll Need:
- A timer
-
Step 1
If you have a stressful or tedious job you would probably benefit by taking breaks throughout the day. Most people get a couple 10 minute breaks but that's really not enough. You need to set a timer and at least once per hour get up and take a break!
-
Step 2
Set your timer and when it rings take a quick 2 minute break. That's all you really need to get rejuvenated. Get up and stretch. Go get some water. Step outside for some fresh air. Or just sit back, close your eyes and relax! It's amazing how good you will feel after a quick 2 minute break!
-
Step 3
If you work with other people get everyone involved. When the timer rings, everyone needs to stretch or to walk or to just laugh out loud for no reason. If your boss does not approve, explain that it will be better for everyone in the long run if you can all take a quick break every hour. And get the boss involved too!
