Cleaning a microwave can be easy!
Cleaning a microwave can be easy!

Does your microwave look like there was an explosion inside of it? Here is the easiest way to clean it without any cleaners.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Large plastic bowl
  • 6 cups of water
  • Clean washcloth
  1. Step 1

Find a large, plastic, sturdy bowl. Be sure that the bowl you are going to use is microwavable. Otherwise it will melt and there will be a bigger mess to clean up then just food splatters.

  2. Step 2

Fill the bowl up with approximately six cups of water. Do not add any cleaners to the water.

  3. Step 3

Place the bowl inside of the microwave for 10 minutes, allowing the steam to penetrate the food that has attached itself to your microwave.

  4. Step 4

Once the 10 minutes is up, take the bowl out of the microwave carefully. It will be extremely HOT.

  5. Step 5

Get your clean washcloth and proceed to clean the microwave while the food is still moist inside from the steam.

  6. Step 6

Repeat steps one through five if the food hardens back up before you have finished cleaning it.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be very careful taking the water out of the microwave. Will be very hot.
  • Do not add any kind of cleaner to the water.
