Virtual Call Centers. Because of a backlash against outsourcing call centers to other nations where customer service representatives have difficulty speaking the language, some companies have begun to employ virtual agents who work at home. Virtual Assistant. The virtual assistant is essentially an administrative assistant called upon to work at home.
