Taxes can be time consuming and a huge pain, but take away these problems by using Turbo Tax to e-file your taxes. It is easy and it is free! Turbo Tax walks you through the tax filing process online. If you have any questions their live community and tax representatives are available to assist you.   1. Step 1

    Obtain your W-2's from your employer. You have to have these to e-file your taxes with Turbo Tax.

  2. Step 2

    Log into the Turbo Tax System. Their website address is below in the additional resources section of this article.

  3. Step 3

    Pick the Turbo Tax edition that is right for you and your tax needs. Their free version is for simple returns. They offer a Deluxe version that is $29.95. This version is if you own a home and want to maximize your deductions. Their Premier version is $49.95, and it is for tax payers who own bonds, mutual funds, or rental properties. Their last two editions are for business owners.

  4. Step 4

    Create a Turbo Tax account. Once you have created an account let Turbo Tax walk you through the process. They will help you calculate your deductions and charitable donations.

  5. Step 5

    E-file your taxes. If you are eligible for a refund it will come in around 8-10 business days.
