How to Make a Tiny URL
TinyURL is a free service that allows you to take a long URL and shrink it down to a small address. It's best to use if you're sending a link to a friend or when linking to an article in Twitter. TinyURLS can also be used if you need to mask an address to hide affiliate URLs. Creating a TinyURL is actually a pretty simple process and the service does the hard work for you.

Highlight and copy the long link you want to convert to a Tiny URL.

Go to the TinyURL web page. Paste the link into the box on the home page that says "Enter a long URL to make tiny."
