How to Make a WWE Shirt

When World Wrestling Entertainment comes to town, dressing for the occasion is important. The WWE has its own shirts, but consider downloading a photo of a favorite wrestler and creating your own shirt with the help of iron-on transfer sheets. Anyone who knows how to screen print can create a WWE shirt.

Instructions

    • 1

Take a plain, basic black T-shirt. Most WWE T-shirts are black--there are exceptions, like the classic red and yellow "Hulkamania" shirt. If the shirt is new, run it through the washing machine once or twice to make sure it is preshrunk and any excess dye is washed out.

    • 2

Find an image or picture that you would like to have on the shirt and download it. You may want something like the WWE, Raw or SmackDown logo. Print the image you want onto an iron-on transfer sheet. Make sure your printer/computer can "flip" the image so it prints backward.

    • 3

Iron the image from the transfer sheet onto the shirt. The process may vary depending on the type of sheet, but you should lay the sheet upside down on the shirt front, slowly run an iron over the sheet, wait for it to cool and peel off the paper backside. If you printed the image backward on the computer, the ironed image should now be forward.

Create your own image if you want something simpler than a full photo. You can simply use a word-processing program to type up a favorite superstar trademark line, like "Hustle, Loyalty, Respect," "Time to Play the Game" or the classic "Austin 3:16." Make sure the font is large enough with white letters over a black background, then follow the above instructions for using the iron-on sheets.

    • 5

Apply the typed slogan image to the shirt by screen printing. This may be your best option if you have problems with the steps needed for the iron-on sheets. Print the words out on regular paper, cut out the letters to make a stencil, lay the stencil on the shirt and apply white ink using a brush or printing block.
